Isle of Wight Festival Beach

IOW-Festival-Beach-Events_Party

In 2011 Beach Events joined forces with Solo and created the first ever beach at a major music festival.

‘Lifes a Beach’ at the Isle of Wight Festival was an instant hit with festival-goers and was bombed out at all times.
Luring the punters was an authentic beach bar serving cocktails, a sandstage, café, deckchairs, massage, sand sculptures and Zumba classes, all on a huge temporary beach.
2012 saw ‘Lifes a Beach’ return, this time twice the size!
I.O.W 2013 plans include a sheltered area for possible rainy days, although the I.O.W Festival is known for booking the sunshine.

Life's a Beach- IOW Music festival

IOW Music Festival

Due to popular demand this year sees the return of Life’s a Beach at the UK’s favourite music festival.

We’ve imported 400 tonnes of sand to create an urban beach in the middle of Penny Lane to create that holiday vibe that only the beach can bring.

This year see’s a few changes to ‘Life’s a Beach’, firstly due to its popularity last year the beach is larger, it will also be home to the Kinetic Playground featuring a roundabout, seesaw, bikes and an 8ft human hamster wheel (seriously have to try).  All the energy generated from this frantic activity will power the entire beach area, so come and do your bit for the environment whilst enjoying the party of the year.

The Life’s a Beach stage will feature live reggae and ska and there will be fire- eaters and sword swallowers performing at night.

Bring me sunshine!!!
